Question:

Work visa for Abu Dhabi: What is a PRO?

My husband is supposed to work for a small British Company in Abu Dhabi. The visa process so far has been a mess. At the beginning we understood that a person in his company in Abu Dhabi is his "PRO" but all of a sudden they told us that he is not the PRO. When I asked them if I could talk to the PRO about our visas that is what they answered: "Our PRO (government employee) works for our company, but is not assigned to individuals, hence the reason we have not allocated a direct person to you."

Do you think that there is something wrong? What can we do?

  1. PRO is a Public Relation Officer he is usually responsabile for all visa issuing for the company, in your case i think it is better to contact the administration manager since he is the boss of the PRO.

    good luck...................

  2. A PRO is normally a Public Relations Officer who works for the company.
