Workers Comp Australia NSW, payment question?

I'm off for 2 days on workers comp, I busted my ankle falling down some stairs moving a lounge..

I was just wondering how do i get paid for those 2 days? is it normal through my company? or does it come from a different source?

It is paid by the insurance company of your employer, if they have one. The company's pay person, if they have, one should be able to advise you. If you're ankle is broken you will require more than two days off. If your company is evasive or uncooperative when you ask about compo, tell them you have referred the matter to a solicitor, and see how high they jump.
