we have 11 computer in our network, one of the computer is serving connection to our sub network(2nd workgroup) which is wireless by having two lancards in it and setting it as a internetconnection server, this computer is now not part of our 1st workgroup since we have to create a new workgroup for it. Within the wireless network this pc can be accessed but how can we access the resources of the said computer from the 1st workgroup(PC not belonging to the 2nd workgroup), note that we are still physicall connected to this computer through a network switch directly

if i put in same workgroup name for two different network would that work? or just create a conflict?

  1. So this machine is acting as a bridge?  Probably not?

Why the 2 workgoup names.  To isolate traffic?  Or prevent access to resources from 1 group?

Not sure of your reasons for having 2 workgroup names so I can't just suggest having one.

Yes it would work.  No reason it wouldn't.
