Question:

Working Temperature? What is too hot?

Hello,

I know this sounds really pathetic but recently its been really hot at our work. Our manager checked the temp today and it was at 35, yesterday it was hotter and very humid. I was wondering if there is anything we can do about this? or is it unreasonable because I work in mcdonalds? The air condition is broken and we have to keep all windows shut so we're permanently being blasted with hot air and working at very busy times of the year, its not as if I work in the kitchen (believe it or not its colder in there).

Anyway I was wondering if anyone knew if if I where to ask my manager to address this if I'm being unreasonable?

It has been so hot recently, I'm sure no one wants their food serves by sweaty smelly people.

Thank you so much :)

  1. By law, there should be a number on the board somewhere stating a number to call if you think you are being treated unfairly. And working in fast food with no a/c this time of the year has got to be no fun!!!

  2. I would try calling Human resources, I know the air cond. at my store broke once and they had to fix it asap.
