  1. i think you should start by moving to Spain !

  2. what are you studying (are you in Britain at uni, or in America in college which is uni). You havent said at what stage of your academic career you are so it is difficult to advise you.   It depends are you doing a LLB or a CPE or GDL or just at college in Britain?  I think the CPE/GDL have a European law part, but dont know about the LLB. Do you know Spanish fluently?  I would imagine that is imperative.  I think there are probably courses in Spain you will have to do on top of the British courses so you know their system plus you may still have to do the legal practice course here and the 2 year training contract, so you can practice there although not sure.

I am sure that you would have to be fluent, as law is about nuances of language more often than not as you know.  I am not even sure what extra training you will need there but here you need the LLB (3 yrs) plus a 1 year legal practice course plus the 2 yr training contract.  However you could do another degree and then do the Common professional examination afterwards (1 yr) (otherwise known as Graduate Diploma in Law) and then the 1 yr legal practice course and then the 2 yr training contract.

If I were you I would phone up a good British law school tell them you are considering applying to study law with them but you would like to eventually work in Spain as a lawyer then they will probably be able to tell you what you will need to do, how much it will cost, and if it would be better to train there etc and how to go about it.   Sorry couldnt be more help.
