Working at Hooters?

Question

I was thinking of working partime at Hooters because I heard it's good money with flexible hours. How do you think working there would affect people's (friends, family, etc..) opinion of me? Is it possible that people will consider me a bimbo and that it would stick with me?

You could work at just about any restaurant and make good tips.  If you are comfortable with Hooters, then go for it.  It sounds like you are worried about it already.  If so, then go somewhere else where there will be no question about your character.

If you have no compunction about men looking down your shirt to see how much of your b***s they can see or reaching high over your head to clip the order on a line and the men hope that your b***s fall out the bottom of your shirt, then you should work there.

That was my first waitressing job, and nobody ever gives me grief about it.  Just handle yourself with class and not much can be said.  It was a fun job!

i say go for it.  the outfits are classy s**y and you will be able to wear pantyhose all the time while your working.  i know must people go in there to look at the "hooters" but im in there to check out the s**y legs in pantyhose

I would say go for it!!! It's true that the uniforms are skimpy, but hey I'm a guy and I like the way they look!

My hat is off to all hooters waitresses, they have to put up with a lot of BS!!!  Good Luck!!!

I go to Hooters for the wings and usually end up being very impressed by the friendliness of the waitstaff. The women there are pursuing an honest job and making some decent money.

I think it's a great job for a self-respecting young lady who knows how to handle herself around men.

No one should be chastised for wanting to work but if you had a daughter would you want her to work in a place that uses women's bodies, beer and fatty wings as a draw for business?

It reminds me of that movie Big Daddy where they always make fun of her for working at Hooters...  I would try a different popular restaraunt. If you have your self respect, please keep it.
