Working at Walmart as Stocker Advice?

Well I recently sold my soul to the devil and decided to work at Walmart. I'm a college student and in my last semester of school and in desperate need of some money. I haven't started yet but should have my orientation within the next few days. I got hired as an overnight stocker so it'll defintely be a big change for me. I figure the worst that happens is that I don't like it and just quit the place. Anyone ever work as an overnight stocker there and could give me a little more insight of what typical kinds of things go on or that I gotta do???

well i didnt work overnights or as a stocker, but at the end of my shift is when they came in. it didnt seem too bad. they unload the trucks and sort it in back, and bring it out to the right areas. sometimes they stock the shelves, other departments they leave the boxes out for the day shift to put out when they get there in the morning.  there is a lot of people that have been there forever, which isnt too discouraging :) as long as you get along with others well, you should be fine! and i worked there while i was in school too. its good motivation to know you wont be stuck there like everyone else, and youre actually going somewhere soon! good luck!!!!!!!! and take advantage of all the benefits walmart has. i got a discount off my monthly cell phone bill, cheaper hotel rooms, all sorts of stuff. ask personnel and i think theyll tell you the website, but def check it out. hope this helped :)
