Working at chick-fil-a?

im 14 and going to turn 15 in november and i really need the extra money, and reading around i've noticed that chick-fil-a sounds like a very friendly and welcoming place to work. i live in southern california and i was wondering if i could work here at the age of 14 or 15?

I'm a teacher in Morgantown, WV and I know of an eighth grader (15 yrs. old) that works at the Chick-Fil-A here in town.  She seems to like it, and it does look like a nice place for a first job.  I don't know what the laws are in CA, however.
