Does anyone work at Starbucks? If so, what are the hours per week? And if you are currently in school can you work before and after school? (include pay if you can)

Also, when will you find out if you make the job?

Thanks soo much! Any help at all will be appreciated!

  1. I don't work at starbucks, so I don't know the pay.  I do know the hours varies depending on the store you work at.  You can work before and after school if you wish.  I also know you can work at different locations, if you need more hours.

    Good Luck

  2. My friend has worked at the same Bucks for years.   They've been really felxible with his schedule while he's been in college.  He seems to enjoy it.  Also, if you work 20 or more hours per week they get you health insurance, which is really awesome.

  3. Sorry, I don't work at Starbucks.  I just felt bad because nobody  else had answered.  Good Luck!

  4. Hey!  Are you talking about hours you get working there?

It really varies wherever you are!  Depending on the store you get hired at and how many people they have on staff, as well as your availability will determine your hours.

You can set your schedule to work around school.  Sometimes they hire students for evenings and weekends (where business is busier).

I live in Canada and they pay (when first starting off in a regular barista position) just above minimum wage...about $8.65/hour (minimum is $8.50/hr).  You get six months reviews which can increase your pay.

When I first got hired, I went through a job fair interview, then an interview with my manager.  Depending on the person hiring you, they will either let you know on the spot if you're hired or within a week.  Usually sooner because if they're hiring, they need people to start right away.  It's a thorough two weeks of training after you get hired.

If you mean hours of store operation, this varies.  If the store opens at six in the morning and closes at 10 at night, employees will come in and stay half an hour before/later to set up and close.

  5. Haven't worked their but it's a great place to work! Coffee!! Yum!!!
