Working families tax credits??? anyone having problems with helpline?

Has anyone had any problems with getting through to the helpline today, I have been trying since three o'clock today and no joy!

Is it still to late to renew your claim or is tomorrow still ok?

Its because you have left it so late to renew. Everyone else is trying to get through at the same time. I think you can still do it tomorrow, but i would try my hardest to get through tonight just in case.

I had a few problems this morning trying to get through. I kept getting this message saying 'we are receiving a high volume of calls at the moment and can not answer your call.' Keep trying they are open until 10pm tonight. Tomorrow is your deadline to renew your tax credits,.

my son was trying to call them recently and took about 3 days of trying to get thru. i think it has to be by 31st so tomorrow should be ok if not tell them u have been trying to get thru, lines are probably busy cos of the deadline.
