I'm thinking of accepting an administrative job for HP (client representative) in Dublin, but I would like to have some more info about life in Dublin and what it's like to work for HP. Also, how high is the cost of living? I now live in The Hague, Netherlands, is there a big difference? If anyone can give me some extra info, that would be great! Thnx.

  1. The cost of living is high, if you want to live anywhere near Clonskeagh you'll pay a fortune in rent. Most of the areas around it are quite affluent. I'd imagine your wages will be good though.... Income tax is pretty low by european standards. Top rate is 41% and most of your income would be taxed at about 22% I think....

  2. iIreland has become more expensive especially accommodation but prob bout the same as where you are now bus time table below general info bout the place if you loking for accomdation try daft.ie info on tax also.how long before you have to decide maybe take a break and come over first and check out the city and place you will be living

  3. Ireland is very expensive to live, especially Dublin.  I dont know about HP - you would have to ask someone working there.

Do you know what part of Dublin the offices are ? because you would be able to get a better idea of cost of living then

  4. Accommodation costs in Dublin are very high at the moment. I would advise looking for a job in one of the other cities.
