Hi, I have a little part-time job, and i've been working for the company(not going to name it) for almost a year. And I have not received a raise yet. Going ona year working there, and I still make what I made on my first day(not going to state amount). EVERYONE else who works there has received a raise besides me, even the people who started AFTER me. I NEVER miss any days, or super late, or anything like that. Everytime I bring it up to the mangers they either find an excuse, or they delay and hope I forget about it.

I hate that feeling that I think i'm getting taken advantage of...

What should I do you guys because i'm tired of this...

Thanks.

P.S. We are suppose to receive a raise EVERY THREE MONTHS, and I'm not receiving that...

  1. i think what  you may be talking about is a bonus which is different from a raise. i work at macy's and every three months, i get a bonus from 80 to 150 dollars but my pay rate stays the same. if you still think that you deserve a raise, be proactive and talk with your supervisor about your feelings.

  2. Tell your manager that you got a better offer than this and see how he reacts. If you are really worth to the company he will not  let you go and may raise your salary. If not try else where, as you are a hard worker  you will definitely get a better opportunity.

  3. Keep asking.  If you don't get it...quit.  They are using you!
