  1. I think Avon are bit of a rip off, they want you to work for them but you have to pay for books etc, you should not have to pay anyone to work, they want there product sold they should supply you with the the means to do so.

  2. No one has money for extra things like that right now.. no one can even make their mortgage..I wouldn't bother if I was you.

  3. I am a rep and it isn’t a rip off! It only cost 10.00 to get started and they give you 20 books at no cost so you can start selling right away! The books are cheap! The more you buy the less you pay… I don’t see why people wouldn’t want to do this!

Come check out my website, my first order paid me back from the cost to start! Very simple process

Send me your info and we can talk more about it!

  4. If you're considering doing it there will be someone to talk to or a brochure you can look at for more information on what the job includes.

  5. LOL.

Avon has only ONE job type at the lowest level, and that's being a representative.

You only deliver the books if you're going to take orders. No, it's not good pay. No, it's not easy. Yes, it can be fun, especially if you have LOTS of friends and relatives who wear makeup and have a little money to spend.

I did hear about this, though, and it seems like it would be a lot more fun:

  6. I think the commission is about 50% or very close to it.

You can advertise more on your emails with your avon link right on your signature.

I have ordered products that way.

    GOOD LUCK.

  7. I've been doing Avon for 16 months now and I love it.  Yes you have to pay for catalogues but I don't notice the charge as I get quite a few perks.  All old season stock goes into a clearance magazine which only you can buy and any new products are offered to you also dirt cheap.  I regularly have customers who order 2 things off certains pages but don't notice that they are due a free item so I choose the free item and keep it.  This can also work when you mix customer orders up.  Avon once did an offer of spending £15 and getting a free bag.  I only had to spend £4 and by mixing orders I got 3 free bags which I then sold on for £2 each.  I also made £18 selling the Christian Lacroix perfume using a deal that Avon offered.  It may not be a lot of money but it will buy me nappies and baby milk and I've made so many new friends in the village where i live.
