Working from home, can anyone help?

Does anyone know of a site, THAT IS NOT A SCAM OR MONEY RISK, that is a work from home site? I was going with workfromhome.net but they switched owners over and are not owned by the same people. I moved to a new state a few months ago and I'm having a horrible time finding work here. I'm not looking for something you dump money into. I know there are sites out there for telemarketing and such from your home for stay at home moms, I'm just not having luck at finding them. Does anyone know of some good work at home sites to recommend or some solutions? Thanks a lot!

  1. http://www.westat.com

you call people  for surveys over the phone that's all no selling! and they pay like $10.00 an hour..

Also I used to work for this place called westathome

I forgot the url but look it up they pay every week too and you just answer the calls for infomercials! All very easy and legite!

  2. go to wahm.com and read  read  read,  they will talk you thru the truth nd the fiction of working at home,  never, never, never pay for a job or for training to get a job,

i work at home, but i did my research it took 6 months to find a lucrative position, and it is not suited for everyone,  so do your research and that is where to start..  wahm.com

    good luck  ;)

  3. go sell avon. ive done it. it makes pretty good money to. just go to avon.com

  4. This is the site that was on TV recently, they'll send you a free DVD to help you get started working from home:

  5. I know a couple places that an article was written on home based jobs.  I'm not sure about telemarketing where you call out, but I think my friends who have worked for them said it's incoming calls.  Other places that have data type entry, but you have to have 40 WPM and a few other things in order to qualify for the position.  A few different places named in this article.  If you can qualify for their positions, then you should look into applying there.

  6. becareful of the scams out there. I have seen alot of this lately.

If you are just new to the net you need to get some direction first.

the most important thing aobut this is having customers and giving them a solution to their problems.

If you can do this and do it well.....expect to make a kazillion more than anyone working a 9-5 job.

  7. no i dont but i think if you watch tv they have ads on tv for that stuff

  8. One of the easiest ways of making money on the internet is to set yourself up as an affiliate. But it doesn't mean to say that you sign up with every single affiliate program and then spam everyone!

The best affiliate programs are the ones that give you good promotional material, not just banner ads, but brandable eBooks and reports for example where you imbed your affiliate link inside and ones that give you specific step-by-step instructions on how to promote.

    Here's a very good tattoo affiliate program that I'm using that's making me about $50 a day;

  9. AVON, $10 to start

  10. There's a site here you might find useful, it doesn't offer work as such but it gives you advice and information and links about how to either set up a business from home, or going about setting yourself up as a free-lancer or teleworker, and there's a forum.  I've noticed that there are a lot of stay at home mom and homeworking advice sites which seem to be giving some tips and links about homeworking, but then you wonder if part of the purpose is to promote their own business interests, and that they allow so much advertising that a lot of the scams and rip-offs get through, WAHM seems quite good though.

One bit of advice this site gives which might be relevant to you is to do general job searches at agency and newspaper sites with search terms like 'homeworker', 'home-based' or 'teleworker'.  You could try this for 'telemarketing', and also look at the individual websites of companies you can think of who might have that sort of work, and to look at the 'teleworking' websites.  The other similar thing of course is telephone surveys for market research companies, I'm in the UK and we have things like the Market Research Association which has contact details for its member companies on the website, so I imagine there must be similar organisations in the USA.
