Working from home please help

I'm having such a hard time trying to find work in the small town I live in especially because I have a mother who had a heart attack at the end of June that I need to drive to Dr. appointments and I have problems with severe migraines every day from a car accident 3 years ago which makes it extremely hard to work at a normal job.

Anyone have any sites where I could find work to do from home?

  1. would you be interested in writing?

You could setup a blog or website, this is completely free.  Once you have added some good content, you can start to earn money from advertising.  I know you wont make a huge income from this, but it would get you started working from home.

Pick a topic which you are very interested in, and write a piece on that everyday.

I've given step by step instructions on how to create a website for free, and then add adverts to it so you can start generating income.

Any questions please leave a comment on this blog.

I've also found some useful information on these blogs, it helps you to earn small amounts of money from data entry, surveys, receiving telephone calls, reading adverts in emails and online selling.

  2. I always wanted to find a legitimate job that I could do from my computer and which would allow me flexible hours (I have two very young children).  I spent hours and hours on the Internet but everything I found seemed like a scam. Surveys paid but very little. Almost like a couple of cents per hour! I tried reading emails with Inbox Dollars, but they only pay 2 cents per email and won’t pay you until you have at least $30.00!!! That is 1500 emails and when you get to $30.00 and ask for a payment, they will deduct $3.00 for “processing fee”!!!

But I learned that if a company is legitimate, they will be affiliated with the Better Business Bureau (BBB).  Yes, all online jobs that I found somehow needed an investment but I recently joined SFI.  They are affiliated with the BBB, they have everything I needed and it’s free. Free meaning that they will give you an option to become “executive” for free. I personally decided to pay the $29.00 and after only a couple of months not only it is paying for itself but I’m making a profit as well. It is not a get rich quick thing but it is real and you can make good money if you are willing to work at least a couple of hours a day and be an active member. That is what I was looking for. Here is the website in case you are interested.

  3. Take a look at this website..http://www.StartCashGiftingNow.com. It is an incredible opportunity that could really help. Best of luck

  4. I've been doing some work with www.elance.com the past week, all the work is home based, data entry, transcription etc. The only thing is you're competing against people from countries where the hourly rate of pay is a lot lower, so not sure if it would be worth it for you.

Also have a look at the jobs listed here, most are applicable to us,canada, europe, its quite good, thats where I found the above link.

Its been updated today to include some Craft type jobs which can be done from home, mainly re-distribution, but it possible to make good money from it if you work hard.

So many online jobs are out there. In fact, to do any online job, you need not want to invest anything. Make sure, you dont pay anything to get jobs online. It is just that need to pick the one that suits you the best. I hope this helps you and I believe you will find the online job that you love the most. Thanks

  5. I'm really sorry about your mom and her having to deal with such health problems.  I'm also sorry about your having migraines.  Hoping that you get some relief soon.  Unfortunately, just about all of those work at home 'jobs' are a scam especially if asking for money upfront or personal info which can put one at risk for identity theft:  http://www.ftc.gov and can click 'identity theft' or such.

Perhaps you can apply for disability at the social security administration (ssa).  The process, however, can take a couple years between (typically) getting a couple 'denials' and then a hearing from an administrative law judge (ALJ).  How about contacting a social security lawyer and one who only collects the client's back pay if he or she is approved by the ssa.
