I`m thinking of going to Australia on a working holiday visa and wondering what kind of work I can do? I know the purpose of the visa is to fund ones travels within Australia but is it possible to also find work say in IT or accounting without related work experience? Thanks for any information.

  1. people on a working holiday visa usually do jobs like bar work, fruit picking, casual stuff

an lT company wouldnt put money into training someone that can only work for them for 6 months as on this visa you can only work for any one employer for no longer than 6 months

  2. Your working holiday visa will allow you to do any type of work and you can work for up to 6 months with each employer. However, if you have no experience in a field like accounting or IT, it would probably be very difficult to find work for such a short period of time as an employer would need to give you training and is unlikely to do so under those circumstances.

  3. The types of work you can do are fruit picking, restaurants.

Without the experience you will not be able to get into any of these jobs our unemployment is really high and our people need these jobs.
