Working holiday visa in Australia....?

Question

I plan to go to Australia for 1-2 years soon. If anyone has already done this then please email me as I would like to speak ask you some questions.

Think this would be 10 times better than a travel agent who would only be interested in selling me the visa.

Hi Sluggy, I'm taking pity on you as you haven't got any other answers, poor you!  I'm Australian and I can tell you that you shouldn't pay an agent for a visa when you can get it yourself online from this site:  http://www.immi.gov.au/immigration.htm

May I also suggest that you join the free travellers' site:  http://www.couchsurfing.com/ which has thousands of members from many countries.  Many of them would have visited Aus and could advise you.  You could also make Aussie contacts through this site.

The answers will also depend on which country you hail from initially. As there are different visa conditions for different countries. But Zucchini has given you some good advice and a starting point.
