  1. Check out the following websites;

    www.jobincyprus.com

    www.cyprusjobs.com

    You might find something on these sites.

    Generally, its probably better to start looking now. Most of the resorts start to close up for the winter months at the end of October, ready to re-open for the summer season in April next year. Even though Cyprus is advertised as a year-round holiday destination, it doesn't mean that it all stays open! Protaras becomes a ghost town, with just one bar open, and even in agia Napa, the clubs are closed throughout the winter, with just a few of themajor restaurants open, and just a few of the more popular tavernas; most of the touristy things are closed. And in Paphos, even though it appears to be a hive of activity in the daytime, it completely closes at night!!.

    You really need to look at being here between April and October if your aiming for six months here. You should find it easy enough to get rented accommodation. when you get here, pick up a copy of The Cyprus Mail ( www.cyprus-mail.com) Its a newspaper, mainly aimed at Ex-pats, but you might be able to find jobs in this newspaper.

    Of course, the next thing is deciding what you want to do! don't expect great wages whatever you decide on!! My husband is a qualified plumber with thirty years experience, andI myself am a pharmacist......but we have set up our own pool cleaning company...it pays more...and of course...we work the hours that suit us. Usually setting out at 5.00.am, and back home for lunchtime, our days work done! It suits us down to the ground.

    If your just intending to work the summer months, then i guess it will have to be bar work, waiting on tables, or in the hotels. We know someone who comes over every summer and works for one of the car hire companies. He spends most of his days on the beach, goes clubbing at night, goes straight from the clubs to work, cleaning and valeting the hire cars, and then starts his day at the beach again. He's been doing it for about eight years now, and loves every minuute of it!

    Good luck in whatever you decide to do!!

    We live in Xylofagou, about 8K from Agia Napa!

  2. Hi,

    You may find this site interesting, contact Audry who owns it, I know she would be delighted to help and advise.

  3. I live in North Cyprus it really depends on what kind of work you are qualified for. There are always lots of jobs here with estate agents and hotel work is always available. Also believe their are a few call centres on the south which deal with internet gambling. Sorry couldn't be more help. Good Luck you will love it here.

  4. If your into sports and stuff, there are hundreds of watersports kiosks, and most of the islands are covered in restaurants, where you could work.

  5. go to Ayia Napa...
