  1. book a one week holiday, go, see if you can get work. Personally i think you will be able to cos people get bored, go home for certain reasons. However, if you don't get a job you could ask for the next yr or make sure you definitely do want to return the next yr and always have your return flight to fall back on. How people say get a job first......don't its virtually impossible..go out and ask ask ask! good luck x

  2. I am from Rhodes, but i would suggest you to look for the next year, because they ''book''if oi can use the word from winter the staff for the different jobs of summer..So, in this case, it would be better to search for the next year, especially in the sector of tourism, also as tour operator, just to be sure, because during that period it will not be so easy to find something...

  3. I went to Rhodes for part of my gap year. Started with just a bit of holidaying, got bored and very easily found a job behind the bar of a club. Didn't like the hours very much and became head waitress in a restaurant. I still think I am the only person in the world to become head waitress without a grain of experience (LOL). I grew up in my parents' hotel, though. That was 18-ish years ago. I guess it should not be too difficult for you.

  4. Would it not be better to secure a job first ?
