I recently applied a job online and the name of the company is HERZELEID COMPANY LTD (UK). They sent me an OFFER OF APPOINTMENT & DOCUMENTATION today and said that they instructed the Travel Agent to start the processing of your Travel documents and POST them to you as soon as I have paid the processing charges as instructed.

Can anyone help me with this company if this is legal? How can validate the legality of this company and the travel agency?because they ask for processing charges. Is the travel agency also is legal? the name of the travel agency is

  1. BE VERY CAREFUL.  The fact that they are telling you to send money is the red flag.  I have been offered a job in the UK, and I'm not sending or paying them anything. They will be assisting me with relocation.

Don't send any money!  You should not have to pay them to get a job--that's not how it works, right?

I am sure there are ways to investigate the validity of the businesses involved.  Sounds like a major scam, sorry to say. It's not so easy to just apply for a job and then start to work--you need work permits, etc  (I'm assuming you are not in the UK)

  2. It is incredibly rare to be given a job without an interview, even for an overseas post. I would have thought someone would have rang you to at least ask some questions.

There is paperwork involved in a company hiring someone from overseas, but I am unaware of the costs involved. A reputable company would pay the fees for you.

The telephone number given is a mobile number. A real business in Manchester would have a number beginning with '0161' (or '44 161' when dialling fro abroad).

A reputable business would have an email address with the company's name after the @ sign.

The postcode does not link to Herzeleid Street in Manchester. Google Map it yourself. There is NO Herzeleid Street at all.

This is a scam. Forget about it and don't contact them again.
