Working in a magazine?

i work as an editor in a school magazine, and for the rest of the following months we will no produce a new issue of our magazine, due to lack of budget and some work. does anyone have a suggestion on what can we do?

  1. Sad to hear that. I used to be an editor for my school and High  School magazines, too, but not having such big issue, though.

    "...due to some work" you said you're having issues, also?!.. Well in that case you should try writing much more interesting stuff in the magazine.

    What specific areas of the magazine do you need to allocate budget for?  Are your magazine staff working for the magazine for free?  I presume they are as it is a school magazine.  

    That leaves your printing and distribution costs.  Maybe you could produce an online version for a couple of months and distribute it that way.

    If you don't have a magazine produced yet, you could get something like this http://www.magazine-template.com very cheap to get you going fast.

    The other option you could explore is to seel advertising space in your magazine to local businesses.
