Working in an Irish Prison??

ive got Work x for MJoy prison for some of the summer and im REALLY lookin forward to it cos its what i wanna do in the summer but im nervous about what to say infront of druggies, robbers, rapists etc. Plus im 18 and a girl,,,,,,

If you are on work experience you probably won't have much contact with the actual prisoners and if you do you will always be accompanied by a member of staff.  Just act and speak as you would normally, try see and treat, them as human beings without the label of their crime.

Ee gads. They're likely to say all kinds of horrible things to do, simply because you're a young girl, like what they'd do to you if they got you alone, that kind of thing.

Either you'll hate it or you'll learn to deal with it.

Fair play to you, though. There is no way I'd do that job!
