Working in another country?

Question

I am a 20 year old Canadian Citizen and would like to try and find a part time / full time job somewhere hot. Sick of Canadian Winters and just wondering is it possible for me to head down south to the U.S. or to Mexico and get a job somewhere at a hotel / resort or a beach something cool like that for a while. If anyone knows what the laws are and what the process is to go about doing this let me know also if anyone has any good sites or ideas of where I could possibly find work that would be great too also any other information would be awsome thanks

The ONLY way to work in the U.S. legally is to apply to immigrate and be granted a green card ( takes at least 5 years to get to that point), or to get aa work visa...very difficult.  See site below. Getting a work visa in Mexico is nearly impossible too, unless you are highly skilled in an area where workwers are needed...unemployment is high in Mexico and there are plenty of skilled people unemployed or underwmployed...working in a different country is a great idea and many people want to do it, but it IS very difficult.  you can see the site below with info for Canadians seeking to work abroad...the only thing is, it is difficult to do this in other than high skill jobs.

Hey! I was thinking of doing the same! ( except for me, it had to be Europe all the way...) Anyway, one day I saw this commercial on TV and thought "That's it!"

Florida is hot and a nice place to live and work, I'd say skip California. You'll need to apply for a work visa, everything else not too sure about. I live in Iowa, and Florida is awesome.
