what steps do I need to take to work in singapore, im not singaporean and hold british passport.

I want to live in singapore whilst applying for jobs, as I think this is the best way

  1. You need to find an employer in Singapore that is willing to hire you. Your employer will then apply for an employment pass for you with authorities. To improve your chances of getting hired, you can get pre-approval of employment pass by applying for Employment Pass Eligibility Certificate on your own.

  2. well, since you have the idea of coming to singapore, living here and finding work from here.. then, come here first and since your briton am not so sure how many days visa you will be entitled for your initial visit upon here.. for us singaporeans, its 6 months to visit uk.. since using biometric passport and tie up with your government.. well, once your here, you must immediately look onto The Straits Times newspaper for jobs and New Paper as well.. Then you may try online also, there are certain websites.. Obviously you cant get into government sector unless your a PR here.. permanent resident i mean..
