Working offshore?

I've applied at a few offshore companies, I have a week until I take a physical. But i was wondering if anyone knew how its like. What will i have to endure. I will be on a drilling rig in the gulf of Mexico below lousiana so I know the heat is gonna be bad. But how stuniuous will the work be? Will I be just constantly busy without breaks? Tell me all the details.. Thanks..
