    Because Vitaly sounds like vital, which pertains to life.

    And just Wood as a surname seems too solid and tough, but paired with Vitaly, it's a little more loose and free.

    That's my abstract interpretation. Haha

  10. Yeah it might seem kind of weird at first, but if it is really the name you want do it.  Besides if you haven't talked to her in years it's likely you may go years without talking again. It's not like it is someone in your life where the kids will grow up together.

    Honestly name him what you want.  I didn't with my son at first and ended up changing his name.... totally a big mistake... stick to your gut; that way you don't regret it late....

    just the opinion of someone who didn't get it right the first time around

    Just a side note...the name I named my son and ended up hating and changing it from was Ezekiel....

    I did however keep Ezekiel as his middle name...

    Grayson is a great name..I'd say go for it!

  11. Like you said, you don't see her much, and your kids wont grow up together, so it's your choice. I would have found another name, that's just me. I want my child to have his own special name. I just don't really like any of the names on your list.

    Name him Mason, it sounds similar, and Mason sounds so cute for a little boy, but also strong for a man.
