  1. Divide by 100 then multiply by 120

  2. Divide the number by 4 then add it to the number.

    Ex.

    the number is 8

    8/4=2

    8+2=10

    10*.2=2

    10-2=8

    which was the number

  3. divide that number by 80 and times by 100.

  4. Add 20% on to the number you have.

  5. Divide by 0.8

  6. If you call the original number X

    Then reducing by 20% is

    x - 0.2x which simplifies to

    (1 - 0.2)x

    So If you wish to find out original number (x) take the reduced number (y) and divide it by (1 - 0.2), which is 0.8.

    (1-0.2)x = y,

    x = y / (1-0.2)
