Question:

Working out and Frustrated. Help!!!?

Ok, I've been doing the treadmill and bike since 7/10 along with push ups and abdominal exercises to build up my upper half. Average 6 days a week. I only lost 8 pounds so far. I notice my pants getting loser but only 2 people noticed something. I am 40 years old Male, 5' 10". Started at 226 lbs, now 218. Is this normal weight loss? Am I building muscle weight? Some advice from fitness folks appreciated. Thanks!!

  1. That's pretty good actually, given your age and all.

    You could take in less calories, that'll help.


  2. i worked out at the gym for 4 months every day.  didn't lose one pound.  but i toned up and felt much better.  i'm a 46 yr old woman i weigh 150 lbs.  keep working on it and good luck!
