  1. when weight lifting, it does not matter what time of you do it.  i sometimes do it first thing in the morning because i wont have time or energy later.  its a preference of yours.  before you weight lift you need to eat something.  if you weight lift on an empty stomach your body will burn your muscle cells for quick energy.  you can have anything before you workout, i like to drink raw eggs when i workout in the morning but a protein shake before you do will work, but also make sure you eat something after you workout because your body is going to need nutrition.  make sure you wait about 15-20 minutes after you eat, before you workout.  i think i covered it, let me know if more questions...hope that helps

  2. You don't have to eat before doing cardio, but you should eat some protein and carbs an hour before doing any weight training.  Do drink water before working out, though!

  3. drink water and maybe some fruit, its ok whatever you do

  4. If that's the only time you can workout then you can, but if you can try and find another time where you can have a good pre-workout meal, then you should use that time.

If not, then you have to at least make sure you take a scoop of Whey mixed with water right before working out, to prevent your body from burning muscle tissue for energy while you exercise.  I would also advise that you take a simple carbohydrate before working out, like a banana, so you have some energy to workout more to your potential.

Then, after working out, you need another scoop of Whey mixed with water, and you should have a simple carbohydrate again to replace any glycogen stores that may have been depleted during your workout.  Again, you can have a banana.

Then, again, you might have to take the Whey mixed with milk, like you said, before leaving, to keep your body from going into a catabolic state at school.  However, milk will only keep you out of a catabolic state for about 2 hours.  At school, either get lunch within 3 hours, or take a protein bar to have if you aren't getting lunch soon enough.  Then, when you have lunch, make sure it is high protein, that should hold you off until you get home.

    Best of luck!
