Question:

Working with family names here... Suggestions?

My mom's name is Sheryl

My maternal grandma's name is Shirley

My maternal grandpa's name is Bert

My dad and paternal grandpa's name is William

My maternal grandmother's name is Bonnie

The only name I would like to have for a first name would be William.

Can anyone think of any good middle/first names to go with these? I know it's hard to do... not the best names in the world. (IMO)

Thanks! :]

  1. Lauren Sheryl

    Audrey Sheryl

    Zoe Sheryl

    Eden Sheryl

    Courtney Sheryl

    Lauren Shirley

    Peyton Shirley

    Hannah Shirley

    Jillian Shirley

    Julia Shirley

    Abigail Bonnie

    Lauren Bonnie

    Amelia Bonnie

    Caroline Bonnie

    Katherine Bonnie

    Vivian Bonnie

    William Bert sounds good.

  2. William Bertrand (like Bert, only better).

  3. What about William Bert?

For a girl, how about Sarah or Sarai? Sheryl and Shirley are tough to work with. Bonnie is kind of cute for a little girl.

  4. Unless it is a hardcore tradition in your family, I wouldn't worry about using family names.  Then you're really stuck. Pick something that you think is lovely, don't get into the rut of using names you don't have to use.

There are so many wonderful possibilities. My mother's name is Shirley Mae and if I had used either of her names for my daughter, she would have been horrified (she hates her name).

So the question is...why do you feel you need to incorporate their names into your baby's name?  Your response may help others to help you out.

  5. My brother and dad are William Bennett, which I think sounds good but then again I've heard the name since I was little. For the others, I can only think of names I've heard xD First thought for Bonnie was Bonnie Taylor then I remembered that was a song title.

  6. William Andre

    Ann Shirley

    Eric Bert

  7. For a girl or boy?

    Here u go:

    Raveley Summers

    and

    Tess Apple

    or

    Blaine Forrest

    and

    Aspen Judson

    Bye

  8. i agree with lillian I love the way William Bennet sounds

for a girl What about Janessa Sheryl or Bonnie Christine

  9. My name is William Aaron, and not to brag but I think it is a pretty good combo.

Not a fan of the rest no offense, but I would stay with William and give a different middle name.

  10. William is a great name!  I'd just pick a name I liked that started with a S, or B and say it's to honor both of them.  I like honoring family with names, too.  We have some rather tough names to work with, too:  Bertha, Florence, Virginia, Irene, and Stanley.
