I fell at work due to water on the floor in August 2007. I hurt my shoulder elbow and hip. I wasn't having much trouble with my hip until I went back to work in January. Now my hip and back are killing me and they refuse to treat my hip and back as they say my back wasn't listed in the original report. Can they do that?

  1. Yes, but you can contest it.  Ask your benefits administrator about the process and ask your doctor to prepare a statement that the hip and back injuries were sustained in the fall at work.

  2. Yes. They can do this. You can try to fight this as the first person says but I believe the injuries have to be reported within 30 days of the accident. Sorry...I would contact an attorney.
