Workout Plan for volleyball tryouts?

On the 20+21st there are volleyball tryouts for my high school team. Im not bad at volleyball or anything, but can someone make up a workout regimen for me? The most help i need is stronger serves. Thanks!

  1. I'm trying out this year for volleyball too. Here's my work out regimen. (:

    In The MORNING (before it gets too hot) I run for about 10-15 minutes, just testing my enduance because i'm taking it sortof slow.

    Break for about 20 minutes & eat & stuff.

    Go back out and do 16 pushups. Always push yourself to do another.

    &Then I get my volleyball and practice bumping and setting

    & I have a pretty big garage so I use it for jumping/blocking practice. I do about 20 to 30 jumps.

    After that if I can i'll go to the volleyball nets & work on spiking with a friend & serving.

    But I try to practice serving without the ball just to get a feel of the proper technique.

    Feel freee to do thatt until school starts,

    I know it should help with endurance, upper body strength, and volleyball skills all together.


  2. stronger serves dont really come from muscle. its all about technique. ask your coach what you can do to change to a stronger serve, during tryouts. they'll like that you ask questions and want to improve, too!!!
