I Am A Sixteen Year Old Girl Who Is Really Really Interested In A Wrestling Career But This Is Mainly To Be In Good Shape. What Are Some Good Cardio And Weight Exercises. Also Good Diets To Help Me Get Sculpted. Also I Am Getting Into Gymnastics Later This Year. How Will This Help Me Sculpt?

  1. They say the more variety you include in your workout program the better. So it is better for you to say go to the gym one day, but go to gymnastics the other, then swim on the weekend, and such. I have been doing the elliptical for cardio, but it has mad my knees pop for days after wards. I am not personally on this diet, but my sister is: you don't eat any carbohydrates after the sun goes down or around 7 pm. Personally I like to fix peach, blueberry, banana and milk smoothies in a blender with some whey protein powder, because otherwise I don't get enough protein in my diet. They say to have a protein drink within 15 minutes of weight training; if you don't then the muscles can't rebuild. Also,if you don't take a break every other day and let muscles rest from weights, they can't g-r-o-w! I think you will need '' core strengthening'' exercises for wrestling. This is the abs and butt, etc. It is good to work out on a mat for the core muscles. Do sit ups, and they say Pilates works the core - the abs. Pilates programs are offered at gyms. Good luck.
