i plan on trying to get into USNA. i got the academics down and am in really good shape. but i feel like i should stop doing the same things and get more of a variety to be prepared for all conditions. what i do is:

4-5 mile runs

100m and 300m sprints

push ups

pull ups

curl ups

and a lot of running up hills and through rough terrain

what else could i do that would give me a larger variety of exercises?

all help is appreciated, thanks!

  1. my friend who wants to join the army does 5 mile runs carrying 50 pounds in a backpack (i guess you normally carry 55 pound packs in the army)

you should probably be swimming laps. not only does it work your whole body but you'll probably have to swim there.
