Workouts: Hot or Cold??

From your knowledge what should be the best environment for a strenuous workout: 2+ hours.

A heated environment 80 - 110 degrees F

or

A cold environment 40 - 80 degrees F

  1. why would you work out for over 2 hours???? & DEF cold, i think

Train in a cooler environment if you will be working aerobically ie sweating and a fast heart rate. if you will be working in a warm environment I recommend working anaerobically,  I work out 6hrs per day 5 days a week and 3hrs on the weekends and I maintain a 6 pack. and I workout in both environments.

  3. A cool environment.  A hot environment will raise your core temperature and cause premature fatigue as well as risk dehydration and heat illness.  It will also minimize the intensity or your workout... might feel more intense but the actual workload is reduced.  A cold environment also causes premature dehydration.  Right around 60-70 degrees F is perfect.
