Harbhajan Singh, India’s leading spin bowler said that he is ready to take the responsibilities of captain or vice captain if offered by the board. Harbhajan nicked as Bhajji, has an experience of more than eleven years at international cricket and is one of the senior most players of the current Indian team.

"As you said, I have not got my dues, so probably I will when that time comes. I have seen Anil Kumble retiring. He was the captain of India for two years. For me it will be the same thing. Let's see, who knows," said the spinner while talking to the media.
 
Harbhajan, who is leading the spin bowler of India these days, acknowledged the task on his shoulders and said his responsibility was to prepare upcoming spinners of India in the way once he was guided by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Piyush-c82317 Chawla, Pragyan Ojha and Ashwin and said that he thinks it is his responsibility to show them the way.

On a personal note, he said that he is eyeing on the 2011 world cup for the time being. He said that obviously the time has come where he should bring someone for his mother whom she could talk with. He said his mom is waiting for a “bahu” (daughter-in-law)
 
“Yes, definitely I'll think about it after the World Cup. By next July, who knows, I may be married,” said Harbhajan.
