World Heavyweight Champion, Christian on second spot in the Power 25 – WWE News
WWE has updated the rankings for the weekend of July 30 in accordance with Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown. The World Heavyweight Champion, Christian was placed second in the Power 25 list of WWE this week.
Captain Charisma participated in Friday Night SmackDown show that was conducted on July 29. Christian was shocked with the announcement of a “No Holds Barred Match” against the former World Champion, Randy Orton that will be taken place at “SummerSlam” next
week. Secondly, Christian was put into the fight against John Morrison that was invited as a guest superstar from Monday Night Raw by the COO, Triple H. Captain Charisma took the victory after hitting the Killswitch on Morrison.
The first place was again retained by the WWE Champion, John Cena this week. The WWE Champion retained his place by winning his WWE Championship title during Monday Night Raw. Cena retained his WWE title from Rey Mysterio, who also won the title in the same
segment.
The Ultimate Underdog, Rey Mysterio won his WWE title match over The Miz but later on, was put into the fight against Cena. The Master of 619, Mysterio lost WWE title to Cena but, his WWE Championship victory over The Miz amazingly brought him upward to
the third position from seventh in the Power 25 list.
Mr. Money in the Bank, Daniel Bryan continued to shine through his Friday Night SmackDown bout. The former United States Champion and future World Champion, Bryan was distracted by Wade Barrett while he was addressing the WWE Universe. Therefore, Bryan put
him into a severe LeBell Lock and caused him to tap. This caused Mr. Money in the Bank to retain his fourth place in the current week’s Power 25 list.
The Viper Randy Orton lost his third place this week but was honoured with good news of a championship match by the COO. He was defeated by R-Truth as he was disqualified in the fight by hitting him with a steel chair. The Viper hit the RKO on Truth twice
to give his opponent Christian a message that The Viper only listened to voices in his head.
