World Heavyweight Champion, Mark Henry reigns supreme in WWE Power 25 list – WWE Update
The World’s Strongest Champion, Mark Henry achieved the greatest honour for the current week as he reigned supreme in the Power 25 list of WWE that was updated by the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science.
The weekly editions of Monday Night Raw and Friday Night SmackDown that were conducted were included in the ranking points. The rankings were based on the momentum gained during the fight, the nature of match, the wrestler’s overall fame and strength and
in-ring abilities of the fighters. The World Heavyweight Champion demonstrated a tremendous performance during his ride in both SmackDown and Raw segments.
The World’s Strongest Man was set to fight against The Punjabi Playboy, The Great Khali during Monday Night Raw last week on September 26. As the fine from the COO made the World Champion more furious, he took payback from The Great Khali assaulting him
brutally. Henry took Khali with a World’s Strongest Slam. The World’s Strongest Champion left him in pain without ending the contest with a victory or loss.
Afterwards, The Great Khali made a comeback during Friday Night SmackDown segment on September 30 but The World’s Strongest Man once again repeated the same actions. Henry not only hit Khali the World’s Strongest Slam but also put the career of the Punjabi
Playboy on the line inducting him into the Hall of Pain. The World Champion injured the leg by trapping it inside a chair and dropping his massive body off the turnbuckle. The Punjabi Nightmare was taken on a stretcher from the show. It seems that Khali may
have been seriously injured by Henry during the match.
Furthermore, The World’s Strongest Man attacked The Viper, Randy Orton during the main event fight against Christian. He hit the World’s Strongest Slam on Orton and desired to put The Viper into the Hall of Pain but Orton hit an RKO and reversed the situation.
The overall performance of The World’s Strongest Man was excellent and The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science put The World Champion on the top of the current week Power 25 list.
