Today I heard strange thing.

Because some people(World Mission Society Church of God) approached me and asked me "Do you know God the Mother?"

So first time I think that Mother is Mary. But they said that she is not God the Mother.

And they showed many verses about God the Mother.

I was very interesting about that. So I promised them to meet tommorrow.

Is that true existance of God the Mother in the Bible?

In the world everyone has different likes and dislikes, and it is very difficult to get two or three people to agree with each other. For this reason God left us the Bible as a standard to Gods teachings, everyone whether Christian or not agrees to this. Apart from approval of society, the Bible clearly states that every record of the Bible is the powerful “Will of God”.Today it is not too much to say that if one believes in God he must believe in the Bible, and if one believes in the Bible he must believe in God. The reason for this is that God has left us the Bible as a barometer which judges the thoughts and behaviors of all the claimant believers.

Now, this writer would like to briefly share with you about one of the teachings of the Bible, which has been overlooked by believers for many years, and that is the existence of the Heavenly Mother. In the Bible it is recorded that the saviors of mankind, will be the Heavenly Mother as well as the Heavenly Father; both being God. Isn’t this shocking?

The purpose of this article is not to create separation between the World Mission Society Church of God and all the other churches; the purpose of this article is to ask readers, that if we call God “Father” why can we not call God “Mother” as well? Is not gender equality what society is about today? Plus this is not something that just came about overnight, but it could be clearly proven through the Bible.

People think that God the Father created the heavens and the earth alone, but when we come to read the Bible we notice verses like Genesis 1:26, where God speaks in plural form, this clearly states that God the Father was not alone, and when this same God who speaks in plural decides to make humanity in his own image, two images came out. As we know today Adam, who came from the male image of God (Father), and Eve who came from the female image of God (Mother). Also in many instance in the Bible Jesus and his disciples use the character of Abraham in the Old Testament to represent that of God the Father(Luke 16:19); and the character of Sarah in the Old Testament to represent that of God the Mother(Galatians 4:26).

In the Bible, there are so many testimonies not only about God the Father, whom Christians have been calling for thousands of years, but also about the existence of God the Mother and Her role, mission and prophecies She has to fulfill for the salvation of mankind.

We the members of the World Mission Society Church of God cannot deny the existence of the Heavenly Mother who is clearly testified in the Bible. We believe that the creators whom the Bible testifies about are our Heavenly Father and our Heavenly Mother. We believe in the bible as it is, not adding to it nor taking away from it.

In a way it is excusable (but it is still painful) when people who don’t believe in God don’t accept the existence of God the Father and God the Mother. But what hurts me more than that is when people, who claim that they believe in God and in the Bible, wouldn’t accept the truth about the Heavenly Mother who is testified in the Bible, and deny the existence of God the Mother, saying all sorts of false logic and lies.

Today it is claimed that the Bible is regarded to be Holy by Christians. People, who go to church every Sunday, always carry the Bible with them. People, who talk about religious matters at church, always carry their Bible under the arms. Whenever a president is inaugurated in the United States, there is always the Bible in the president’s right hand. But it seems as if the Bible is just an accessory for Christians?

This writer wants to ask people who are reading this right now: “Would you believe in God the Mother if her existence is testified in the Bible?”

Let us study through the Bible to discover the existence of our spiritual Mother.

Gen. 1:26-27 『Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness..." So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.』

The above verse states that God has two images-a male image and a female image. Until now, we have only known and called upon the male image of God: "Father." Then how should we call upon the female image of God? Logically, we should refer to God's female image as "Mother." This is why God had said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness."

The word "us" is a plural term. "Elohim," the Hebrew word used in place of "God" in Genesis 1:26, directly translates to "Gods," the plural form of the word "God." Therefore, the references to "us" in the book of Genesis refer to God the Father and God the Mother. Some say that the word "us" in this verse indicates God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. If this argument is correct, there should be three types of people in the world-those who were made in the image of God the Father, those who resemble the image of God the Son, and those created in the image of the Holy Spirit. However, on this earth there are only two types of people: men and women. In the Bible, God is referred to through plural terms instead of singular terms, and it is written that God has a male image and a female image. Therefore, God exists in the male image and in the female image. Have you ever thought about why we call God our Father? It is written that God's invisible qualities have been clearly seen and can be understood through what has been made (Rom. 1:20).

Is there any creature that is given life through only their father, alone, without a mother being present? We need to study this matter carefully. The Children of Promise The Bible calls us "the children of promise."

Gal. 4:28 『Now you, brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise.』Then, what promise did God make to those who are called the children of promise? God promised them eternal life.

1 John 2:25 『And this is what he promised us?even eternal life.』 How is eternal life given to us? The Bible says that all things were created by God's will (Rev. 4:11).

Among all of the many creatures that God has created, let us focus on the mothers. Since it is written that God created all things by His will, a certain will of God was expressed when He created mothers on this earth. As you know, all creatures have a mother figure.

There is not a single creature that can come into existence without a mother.Our physical life is given to us through our physical mother. For 280 days, a baby's hands, feet, eyes and ears form within his mother's womb. When the time comes, the mother will give birth to her child, shedding blood. We are given life through our mother's great pain. How about our spiritual life? Just as our physical life was given to us through our physical mother, our spiritual life is given to us through our spiritual Mother.The Bible clearly testifies that our heavenly Mother exists, and that only our heavenly Mother can give us eternal life.
