If the WSCS does come down to the Rays vs Cubs, The majority of the games would be played in Tampa Bay. Given the way the Rays have played at home this year does this give them a huge advantage?

Remember the Rays haven't lost a series since all-star break. They haven't lost 2 in a row at home since the beginning of the season. Also, they did sweep the Cubs in the only three games they have played this season.

  1. Angels and Brewers. The Cubs will find a way to fold in the playoffs and the Angels will roll over everyone in the AL

    Angels will sweep the WS

  2. haha ^ ^ a little biased i would say judging by his name

LETS GO YANKEES - i still believe!  lol

  3. I'm hoping for a Rays-Cubs WS and home field advantage is definitely a huge advantage.  They'll be playing in front of their 15,000 real fans plus hundreds more bandwagons.

Let's just wait and see.  Neither team has won anything yet

BTW - the Rays are .500 on the road.  That is pretty good.  Most teams are under .500 on the road.

  4. yes if the rays are at home and its the world series they are gonna sweep.

there season is like this (this is attendance of fans *=number of fans)

    *10,000+15-9

    *20,000+17-6

    *30,000+17-1

so there you have it stats right off of sports center you can check the website  so look at the odds and I'm going all in for the rays (if that happens)

  5. Yes, home team advantage is a huge deal! I think that would help the Rays out a lot. But remember, Cubs now have the best record in MLB, which is a major plus. I forget, when was it when they played the Cubs? Because a lot of Cubs players like Fukudome and Soto were in a slump ealier in the season and the Rays may have played them then. I'm hoping it comes down to Cubs vs. Angels because I think it would be very equally matched. Both teams are great and Cubs play better at home and Angels on the road, so it'd be about even. Hope I helped! :)

  6. the World Series is coming down

who ever win the NL East is going to the world series trust me im not looking at record its just the Phillies,Mets are playoff teams this year

WS Mets or Phillies v.s. Angles now i think if the Phillies go its the Angles but if the Mets its the Mets NL East are just playoff team i could just see

  7. Good pick: *=wildcard winner

    NLDS:Phillies(W) vs.Brewers*(L)

    Cubs(W) vs. D-Backs(L)

    ALDS: Rays(W) vs.Twins*(L)

    White Sox(L) vs. Angels(W)

    NLDS: Phillies(W) vs. Cubs(L)

    ALDS: Rays(W) vs. Angels(L)

WS.Phillies vs. Rays undecided who wins.

  8. Angels v. Cubs, Angels v. Brewers, Rays v. Brewers, in that order.

  9. Gives them a good avantage because there a home team . But i think Rays Will win it all when they get Longoria, and Percival back .They are still good now and when they get those guys back they'll be better .

  10. Yes playing 4 games at home in a 7 games series will give them the upperhand.

Thank you, Mr.Young for that sac fly.

  11. the cubs are the best at home and away the cubs are good and rays are good at home but not away so i know the cubs are going to win

    Go Cubs

  12. Its funny how all the Cubs fans are going on about they have the best record but since 2004 only 1 team with the best record has won the World Series. The Cubs have problems like all other teams and cant use Soto and Fukudome slumping as an excuse to why they lost. Look at what Fukudome is doing since. NOTHING and they still win. But their ace is slumping and i dont like the Mets but i would hate to see Johan Santana in the playoffs 1 or 2 times in a 5 game series. Cubs have weaknesses, i mean its not that hard to put up that kind of runs against Washington or Pittsburgh. They cant score against solid pitching teams.  The pitching is a little above average but not great, i mean who gives up that many runs to Pitts and Washington. Now go on for the excuses, i am ready to hear them.   Angels over Mets in 6

  13. well the cubs cant play on the road and the rays can play at home i think the rays have the advantage but you have to look at the cubs have a better offense and more pitching and the experience the rays are inexperienced that is the only thing holding them back
