Melbourne Renegades’ chief executive officer, Stuart Coventry said the charismatic Caribbean batsman would fill the pivotal No. 3 spot in their batting order.

"He seems to fly under the radar when it comes to receiving credit as an all-rounder, but his broad skill-set was one of the main reasons we brought him on board," the Renegades’ CEO added further.
The Melbourne Renegades have had a nightmarish opening season in the Big Bash League in 2011, where they finished second from the bottom. The 2012-13 BBL gets underway at Melbourne on December 7, with Renegades playing Melbourne Stars in the curtain raiser.
