World Trade Center dreams..?

Can someone interpret this for me?

Lately, I've been having these dreams about the World Trade Centers. It usually starts with me arriving in New York (which I've never been to). Either I end up living there, or just visiting. So, in my dreams, I usually go to take a tour around the city, looking at all the tourist attractions. Well, usually in those dreams, I end up wanting to see the World Trade Centers, but I can't see them anywhere. They appear for a split second, but then they disappear.

This last week, I had a dream about them again, only, it began with me receiving a movie from a guy's wife, who I had helped extinguish a fire from his house before it spread. Apparently, it was a movie that had been filmed in either 1912 or 1914. As I begin to watch it, I end up in the movie. I move to New York with a family that I recognize, but can't remember who they are. We're floating around town in a new type of tour car. It reminds me of a cable car, but involves something kind of like a scissors lift. But, as we're going around the city, I attempt to spot the World Trade Centers. I see them far off in the distance, but then they disappear. I then start crying because I can't see them anymore.

My dreams always ends up with me crying because I can't find the World Trade Center.

What does this mean? What is the meaning behind these dreams?

  1. that was a tramatic time in our country...and it may have effected you in ways you don't know. I remember having dreams after 911 happened where there was an airplane taking off on the expressway by my house, there is a bridge crossing over that I was stading on and waving bye to my friends and family on the plane and it took off and went upside down and nosedived right into the pavement...yeah weird I know because planes usually don't take off from the expressway! lol. But I think I interperated my dream as those people attacked innocent people who did not deserve the fate they recieved that day...and it could have been  anybody. One of those hijacked planes flew over northeast ohio where I live...the one that crashed in PA...but its just the fear that something could happen to you or somebody you love, and the WTC represent the people you love, they can be there one minute and gone the next which is horrible. And a good connection that the brain is making is linking back to that day, and those buildings. Are you flying soon, or somebody that you know? It seems you have that fear, try to understand, are you worried bout one person in particular? Do you have any danger in your life? It could be almost anything, or since we are a month away from the what...7 year anniversay you are feeling the energy and remebering for some reason and having a connection

  2. You are traumatized by something that was there in your life but is not anymore. Like the WTC it went away suddenly perhaps violently or disturbingly. In your dream you keep seeing it and then it's gone because you haven't fully come to grips with it.

Don't bottle things up inside. It's ok to mourn over loss.

  3. you need to explain how you felt, how you saw it, just more, dreams are opinions, wants, stresses and how you feel, so your perspective matters
