World changing inventions yet to come?

Every now and then, something totally new comes along, like I-Pod which put all the record and CD stores right out of business, and does anyone remember Western Union? Used to be the dominant telegram company. People thought trains would make people faint due to the speed. Naturally, it can't be great without a market for the product.

What new inventions will come along that will change the world in the future?

I'd like a realistic 3D hologram stage in the center of my living room instead of a two dimensional TV in the corner.

Or a car that runs on water...
