World cultures current event ??

Question

i need to do a current event for my world cultures honors class. but i cant find anything i can understand that is out of the US

i need an artical on news & stories of things happening in other countries so i can write a summery about it for my curent event

can anyone give me a link to a good story or site that has some?

if its not interesting i wont git into it & understand it, therefore it wont work

i already tried cnn & abc news sites, & they arnt working for me =(
