World of Warcraft (PvP)?

I have been playing for several months on a PvE server. My highest levels are only a 35 and 39. What is PvP like? Can you do quests when you are PvP? Do you go after players in both Horde and Alliance? How many ways can you get Honor points? I really have no idea what PvP is like.

  1. PvP is a mess atm.  Don't get into it until WOTLK comes out

  2. PvP servers are just like Regular servers, except that on a PvP server, horde and alliance characters can attack and kill each other at any time, as long as they are within a certain level-range of each other.

This is both good and bad.  Good, in that it's very fun to kill other players when they least expect it.  Bad, in that it's unbelievably frustrating to be killed when you are in the middle of a mission and are a 5-minute run from the graveyard.

So basically, yes, you run quests just like you would on a Regular server, but the danger level is increased dramatically.
