World of Warcraft - What are the places behind people's names in raid window?

When I do any kind of Battleground the raid window has the player's name followed by a dash and another name, the only one I recognize is Hyjal, there are names like Uther, Shu'Halo, what do these names mean? And how come I don't have anything after my name?

For example in raid window it will say "xxxxxxx - hyjal"

Thanks in advance.

  1. Those are the servers, or realms, that they play on. Your's shows up to them, not to yourself.

  2. Those are their servers.  The battlegrounds have people from all the servers that are in your battlegroup.  If someone is from your own server, they won't have anything after their name (which is why you don't have anything there).  To see what battlegroup your server belongs to, go here: http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/pvp/battl...

  3. In BG players from different realms play with you, the name after their name, is their realm name and you dont have one only to you, because you already know where you are from, but other people see it.

  4. Those people are on a different server than you when you fight in battle grounds your battle group is composed of many different servers than the one your in so if someone in the raid group was on the same server as you there would be nothing by there name either hope that helps.
