World of Warcraft (guilds)?

Let's say I have 3 Alliance characters on the same server...

Can they each be in different guilds? Can they all be in the same guild? Can one be in the guild, and the rest not? ... obviously I've never been in a guild.

There are no restrictions for characters on the same account, same server, being in the same guild, different guilds or unguilded.

Yes, they can be in whatever guilds you want, same, different, some in a guild some not. They don't all join at once if thats what you're asking.
