World of Warcraft secondexpansion question?

Well im new... and i am just finished with the trial.... and im waiting to buy the third expansion in sept(if my sources are correct) what i was wondering... if i buy the second expansion LK... do i have to buy the other two( BC and WoW) if so... do i have to pay for all 3 monthly charges? please tell me cause if so its such a ripoff

Yes, you have to buy the expansion before (The Burning Crusade)  it to play the new one coming out this fall, as well as the original World of Warcraft.  However, there is only a single monthly fee attached to playing wow, no matter which expansions you have.  $15.

Lich King comes out in NOVEMBER not September, however I've heard rumors the release date may be pushed back again. And no you don't have to pay for all three monthly. lol Just the one wow account is fifteen bucks a month. :P And you do have to have the other two installed, and if you install them all, it will take a while because of all the patches, your wow account may need to be updated. There's a few patches and when lich king comes out it will be even more! But at least you can get a mount at level thirty now! :D Have fun playing!

Blizzard has not announced a release date for Wrath of the Lich King at this time. Any dates that are noticed on various game store sites are estimates and only there so they can sell preorders.

You will indeed need both World of Warcraft and the Burning Crusade installed to be able to install Wrath.

Fortunately, the monthly fee remains at $14.99 regardless of the version of the game you have.

I wouldnt look for an updated Battlechest right away. The current battlechest didnt come out until well after the expansion had been released.
