you always pay the fee to play each month, but the first month is free. from there, it is 15$.

also, there is a referral program that enables you and someone else to level 3x quicker and get a cool mount, so you should ask someone here for their information so you can put them as a referral to benefit.

The monthly fee is $15 per month every month but you get your first month free after buying the game. Or you could search for free servers which allow you play for free but in exchange for 1 step behind updates, chance of a laggy server 90% of the time, and some nasty bugs. Not all servers are like this but most are.

Yes you still pay for it.  Once you start playing and you understand it you wont even think twice about paying for it.  Its worth it.  You can buy the 2 month game cards are walmart for like 30 dollars.

Yes, whether you download it online, or buy it at the store there is always a monthly fee. The only way around that is through private servers. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
