  1. Developed counries.....a.k.a. U.S., England......use about 75% of the earth's non-renewable reasources...........while undeveloped countries, Africa,Mexico....use the remaining 25%

However China is in a class of it's own at the moment....they are in the midst of an industrial revolution and are currentrly using more reasources than the U.S........but one other factor...they know that by burning the fossil fuels it hurts the enviorment buty they do not care....you could say that they are in a way "anti-green"

  2. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petroleum#C...

It is a wikipedia article biased with nonsense about peak oil but it provides the amounts in various locations

  3. The Wikepedia article is useful

'Peak oil' theory is NOT nonsense, however. How can it be, when oil is a non-renewable source and is finite in amount?

America's and U.K oil production has been in decline for many years - 'peaked' in the 1980's so we have had to import more crude oil from the Middle-east, South America, and Africa, to make up the gap in order for economic growth to continue. Without this, there would not be enough oil, simple as!

The trouble is, when the middle-east, South America, Russia and Africa have also 'peaked' with their production, as we did in the 1980's, we won't be able to plug the gap to continue the relentless economic growth we have been accustomed to! The will be the end of the world economic growth phase, at the least for the time being until we have found alternative means and energy sources to plug the gap again.
